My Old Stamping Grounds

There's just a few more days to submit your creation to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity's June Challenge: Lemon/Lime or Terra Cotta/Turquoise Color Scheme. Here's a simple creation where the colors keep it fresh and clean looking: I used a Mother Goose People stamp and a sentiment from Travel Quotes . Wouldn't flying on a goose be an exciting way to get around? Maybe a bit terrifying, too, haha. There are still a couple of days left in April to enter the Lost Coast Designs "Where's My Hat" Challenge. Here's a card that reflects those times when we need to stand up for ourselves. That being said, I'm a big believer in doing everything with kindness and compassion, so try not to be too "witchy" haha.   I wanted to use this Mother Goose People stamp for the Challenge, but I didn't have a sentiment stamp in my personal collection to reflect the message I wanted to send. When that happens, I go to the internet and look up quotes that I can handwrite, and that's what I did here. Hello! Aimee here. Ever since I was a little kid, I LOVED making Halloween artwork. I have a memory of being in First Grade (age 7) and drawing a haunted house in white crayon on white paper, then using black watercolor to wash over the paper to reveal the creepy house. How fun is it that as adults we can still color spooky scenes?! This card uses the Lost Coast Designs Dancing Skeletons , Brush Strokes and Mother Goose People stamps.
