Alice's Adventures

Image
All women were once young girls, so I think this card still qualifies for the Women Challenge hosted by Lost Coast Designs . I used the Four Alices and Brush Strokes stamps from Lost Coast Designs and the Courage and Cusswords stamp from Carmen's Veranda . For the sentiment shown here, I cut off the lower lines of the phrase to focus on the adventure aspect, something Alice is known for. Follow along this pictorial to know how I put it all together: There's one more day left for you to submit a stamped creation to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity as part of the Women Challenge. Who knows? Maybe yours will be selected to win a prize!

"Children" is the August challenge theme for the Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda stamp companies. Here's a tutorial on how to make an all-occasion Alice in Wonderland greeting card using the Four Alices and Brushstokes stamps.   Please comment if you have any questions. Submit your children-themed creations by August 31 to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity  for a chance to win Lost Coast dollars!

August: The Children's Challenge

Image
Hello stamping friends! My Design Team debut is here as we hit mid August. This month you'll see three cards I created based on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity " Children's Challenge ." I created this Alice in Wonderland card as "inspiration" for the event. My plan is to keep "inspiration" projects a bit simpler, something that someone could make based on just looking at the photo. I used one of the Four Alices  stamps from the Lost Coast Designs catalogue.  The rest is just some fun flamingo paper, ribbon, and a paper flower sticker from the Dollar Store. There are two more beautiful inspiration projects here  from fellow designers Darlene and Kathi. Submit a stamped creation to the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity and have a chance to win the monthly prize! Entries are due by August 31. Join in the fun! Come back on August 18 and 30 for blog tutorials on my two additional Children's theme cards.
