My Old Stamping Grounds

When I lived in Belgium, I was able to engage with three things I love--gnomes, mushrooms, and travel! Gnomes are imbedded in European folklore, so they are timeless images to embrace. Each Autumn I would venture into the forests in search of red mushrooms (Amanita Muscaria), something I'd never seen before in the United States. Belgium is truly land of the Smurfs! To make this card, I used patterned paper with mushroom images, the Pompom Gnome and a house, and Travel Quotes from Lost Coast Designs : The Lost Coast Portal to Creativity is hosting an "Anything Goes With Gnomes" Challenge for April.
