SpeCATular Gift Tag

Image
For me, December is a time for family, faith and gift giving. Where I live in Utah, neighbors often exchange small presents with each other. I like to attach a cute gift tag to mine where I can write a Christmas greeting on the back side.  This gift tag has sparkle and shine, perfect for this month's Cold & Frosty Challenge . I made it using the Angel Cat stamp found in the Carmen's Veranda stamp catalogue . Follow along with these photos to see how I made the tag: There's still one day remaining to post your own Cold & Frosty creation to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity . Enter to win a prize! And may I wish you a very Happy New Year!

Brrrrrr! Birdie

Hello Stamping friends! The Cold & Frosty challenge is right up my alley as I live up high in a Utah canyon where it's cold all winter. In fact, I'm watching the snow fall as I write this blog.  Black-capped Chickadees are one of my favorite birds, so seeing this little guy all dressed up, ready to attend the neighborhood Christmas party was fun inspiration for this month's Challenge. Follow along with these photos to see how I made this card using the stamp Megan's Christmas Bird: So, bundle up in some cozy clothes, light a fire in the fireplace, make a cup of rich hot cocoa (with whip cream!) and start creating your submission for the Cold & Frosty Challenge! Entries due by the last day of December for your chance to win a prize.
