My Old Stamping Grounds

There's just one more day to submit your entry to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity for their Children's Challenge . Perhaps this Mother Goose card can be a source of inspiration. Did you know Mother Goose was a real person? The internet debates a bit on who was the REAL Mother Goose, but one thing for certain is she came up with so many catchy rhymes. So. Many. This card highlights just a few that may be known to you. I'm sure some will debate whether my handwriting is good enough to feature on the front of a card. Is it perfect? No. Would I like it to be better? Sure. All I know is I had an idea in my head that I wanted to get onto the card front, and writing it out by hand was the resource I had to make it happen. Hello stamping friends! My Design Team debut is here as we hit mid August. This month you'll see three cards I created based on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity " Children's Challenge ." I created this Alice in Wonderland card as "inspiration" for the event. My plan is to keep "inspiration" projects a bit simpler, something that someone could make based on just looking at the photo. I used one of the Four Alices  stamps from the Lost Coast Designs catalogue.  The rest is just some fun flamingo paper, ribbon, and a paper flower sticker from the Dollar Store. There are two more beautiful inspiration projects here  from fellow designers Darlene and Kathi.
